Founding principle: Business Inside

Business Inside™ is a conviction: knowing that a company builds its success and sustainability thanks to its workers, its culture and its specific procedures.

Business Inside™ is an attitude: defining an IT project while building on its contribution to the company’s vision, strategy and profitability.

Business Inside™ is a label: guaranteeing that our solutions meet the company’s business and contribute to its success.

One principle that is part of the logic of Cobit: aligning IT tools with the company’s strategy and needs.

Cobit referential

The Cobit referential (Control Objectives for Information and related Technology) provides companies with tools making it possible to pilot their IT tool based on the company’s strategy.

Concretely

Concretely, it has to do with understanding the company’s strategy and business needs and defining on this basis the strategic areas of focus that the IT must follow to support the company’s activity.

This analysis is based among other things on the following the following discussions:

What is the company’s strategy and in what manner does the IT meet that strategy?

Does everyone in the company understand the IT objectives?

Are new projects likely to provide solutions that respond to the company’s needs?

Are new projects delivered on time and within budget?

Can changes be made without disrupting current commercial operations?

Are users trained for the systems in place and able to use them productively?

Are IT costs optimised?

Have the IT risk been identified and are they being managed?

Do the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the systems in place guarantee the security of the information?

Is the performance of the IT tools measured sufficiently to detect problems before it’s too late?

Does management ensure that internal controls are effective and efficient?

Can the IT performance be tied to the company’s objectives?

This thinking translates into drawing up a strategic IT plan that defines the areas of development of the IT, how the company measures that they are aligned with the priorities of its business and, if applicable, how they meet specific external or internal regulations, as well as the schedule and budgetary environment.

“An IT system that is distant from a company’s objectives is absurd. Likewise, a company’s strategy that does not rely on the proper IT tools is headed for failure. My team and I circumvent these pitfalls for our clients thanks to our thorough and constantly up-to-date knowledge of company management and the IT world, by us integrating into the logic of the development of your business. And we do so long-term, by relying on our software architecture and experience bundled within projects.”
